I haven’t updated the front page of here for a while. I have added some more photos to the gallery, mainly to the Misc section, but I didn’t think they were ‘front-page worthy’ at the time. If you’re interested, I put some silly pictures of Christmas presents up, as well as some shots of my very nice nieces and nephews on Christmas day.

What I have to add here today isn’t really very exciting, but whilst I was looking for a new laptop bag I found it incredibly difficult to find good photo sets of the bags I was interested in. This wouldn’t be so bad except that I haven’t ever seen a Crumpler bag close up, so I really wanted to know what I was getting before I thought about shelling out £100.

So, here are some pictures of my new laptop bag a Crumpler Puppet. I don’t think that they are available new any more sadly, but it seemed to be what I wanted. It has this removeable section, as you’ll see in the gallery, for holding an SLR and lenses. I don’t have one yet but it pays to be forward thinking right? I was a bit concerned when I ordered it that it would be too small for my 15″ Powerbook, since its listed as being for 12″ laptops. The medium sized model was for 17″ ones though and I thought that would be somewhat overkill. It seems to fit fine anyway, and if I then go and get a smaller laptop its still all good.

The only exciting place I’ve been to take photos recently was Waddington. I’ve posted some of those photos in the Outside section and the most enduring memory of the place was that it was absolutely freezing. The church was quite nice but I couldn’t stand to stay outside for more than about twenty minutes before I was worried my fingers would drop off. I did get some nice shots of the church though, and this statue. It seemed to be a lovely little village, and I’d recommend it to anyone who feels like just visiting somewhere new for once.

I shall try not to leave it quite so long without updating now, though its the middle term of my final year of my degree. The workload is reallly piling up. Still, I should be doing work now, not writing here, so perhaps I’ll be able to use it as a distraction from time to time.
