Its been a while since I updated here but a lot has been going on. I have continued to slowly sort out the gallery here as I said I would way back when. I’ve uploaded the archive from a selection of years. I keep meaning to do more but the uploading takes quite a while. I should do it when I’m at the university some time!

Anyway my real reason for posting; my parents and I went on a nice trip to Milnthorpe, and surrounding area. We actually ended up in Grange-Over-Sands for a nice meal in a lovely coffee shop overlooking the bay. I saw a pair of RAF Tornados too, but no photographs. We came back through Arnside, and then Milnthorpe, through a piece of land belonging to a stately home Dallam Tower.

The grounds were *full* of deer, and I mean full. I have never seen so many. They were really cute, young deer bouncing about drinking from the river. I got some pictures but they aren’t fantastic, the light was terrible and I was having an attack of the shakes and no tripod. Still I got some pictures and the deer are lovely so I thought I would share.

I don’t have many photos to share of this but I did take some, so here they are as a random update.

One day I’ll get around to posting all the old albums I have properly, or even get outside and take some new photos that are worth showing! These will do for now however.

Where my boyfriend lives there is a small cat which keeps appearing in the house. It isn’t his cat, nor is it his housemates, but it seems to have adopted the house and I am becoming quite used to finding it randomly. I put it outside again, but it always comes back. One time it even found its way up into the attic to say hello to us.

These pictures were taken this morning when we heard the bell on it’s collar and discovered it sat in the back yard quite obviously contemplating jumping through the kitchen window. Taking pictures was a distraction to stop it breaking in and it worked quite well.

I have to say, of all the cats I’ve tried to photograph, this one was the most well behaved. It has a very high opinion of itself and thats is very obvious from the photographs.
