		<description>I am a local historian and have recently completed a book about the Beldam family and works (2 brothers initially who split and set up individually)The Beldam (Hounslow Works), just around the corner from me finished a few years ago following the death of Robert Beldam. I have a large collection of their original archives inc. photos, ledgers, maps and much more for Hounslow, Brentford and Bury Works, kindly given to me by the last M.D.

		<description>Pre war there was a Beldam Asbestos Company located in Stafford Road, Hounslow Middlesex.
Amongst its products were steam packings used in ships steam engines etc as well as asbestos sheeting.
It had an associated company in Ealing
 I seem to remember a Mr Robert Beldam being involved.
It may ahve moved to Bury?</description>
